Community Employment Services (CES)

At Community Employment Services (CES), a division of WTC, we focus on supporting and empowering people with disabilities in their journey towards meaningful employment. We believe in the value of work and aim to help individuals find paid jobs that offer opportunities to grow and thrive, often paying equal to or above the minimum wage.

Our Approach

We act as a bridge connecting individuals to businesses across Butte and Glenn Counties. By building lasting partnerships with local businesses, we create a community that values diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace. We also offer consultation and training to businesses to help them navigate the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring an inclusive community for all.

Our Services

Situational Assessment (SA)

SA services allow DOR consumers to explore job potential and skills in real work environments, providing hands-on experience and earning wages. This short-term trial helps discover hidden talents and assess employability, making it a crucial step towards successful employment.

Job Development

We assist individuals in preparing for, finding, and keeping great jobs. This includes help with job applications, connecting with employers, landing interviews, and securing competitively paying positions.

Personal, Vocational, Social Adjustment (PVSA)

PVSA services help develop or enhance skills and behaviors needed for successful employment. This targeted, time-limited training focuses on overcoming barriers, improving workplace interaction, grooming, financial skills, and work habits.

Empowering Informed Choices

The goal is to empower you by ensuring you understand the implications of employment, including any trade-offs, potential risks, and advantages.

Wage Reporting Assistance

Our CWIP will help you accurately report your wages, ensuring transparency with benefit providers and making appropriate adjustments based on your employment income.
