Transportation

Our Transportation Department is the trusted provider of curb-to-curb transportation services for individuals attending WTC programs and other services in Butte County. We proudly serve individuals who receive Regional Center services and offer transportation for community events that require ADA accessibility.

Transportation Request Process

If you need transportation through WTC, notify your FNRC service coordinator. Transportation is scheduled based on availability and is not on-demand, so please allow at least 5 business days for review. For more details or to discuss your needs, contact our Transportation Coordinator.

Unlocking Access

A Brief History

Since 1963, we at WTC have operated a county-wide transportation system for people unable to use public transportation, starting with our first Ford Econoline van. We instantly recognized how vital transportation is for everyone to enjoy inclusive access to the community. Today, our vehicles cover 22,000+ miles per month on routes across the county. They are equipped with lifts, specially trained drivers, and other accessibility options required for the continued success of our clients.
